This funerary achievement crest for Henry V is part of a larger project in conjunction with Westminster Abbey and Dr. Tobias Capwell of the Wallace Collection. This was a very challenging and fun project. The aim of the project was to build the crest in the historical method from leather and gesso. Gold leaf was applied once all the details were finalized. The cap of maintenance is hand-sewn from silk and the ermine details are painted. This was made to fit an existing helmet for display.
